A Very Smooth Cruise

Editor's note: During the week of October 28-November 4, JAM's Contemporary Jazz contributor Jeff Charney and his wife Helen were among 50 Kansas Citians who joined 2500 others aboard the Norwegian Cruise Lines' SS Norway for its second annual "Smooth Jazz Cruise." Organized by Sheila Cain of Travelnet Concepts, the cruise made several stops in the Eastern Caribbean and featured performances by Warren Hill, Grady Nichols, Marcus Johnson, Patti Austin, Jonathan Butler, Kim Waters, Marion Meadows and Craig Chaquico. Here are some snapshots, just received, straight from the Charneys' new photo album.
