Credos for 1999
  • Fun flies when you're serving time.
  • Time is what keeps things from happening all at once.
  • Indecision is the key to flexibility.
  • Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
  • I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
  • I will be always late. My ancestors arrived on the Juneflower.
  • Always remember that you're unique... just like everyone else.
  • To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research.
  • There are three kinds of people in the world: those who can count, and those who cannot.
  • Happiness is merely the remission of pain.
  • Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
  • The more you run over a dead cat the flatter it gets.
  • When the chips are down, the buffalo is empty.
  • Things are more like they are today than they ever have been before.
  • Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no
    simpler.
  • Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.
  • If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in
    mind to blame.
  • Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have any film.
  • Never wrestle with a pig; you both get dirty, and the pig likes it.
  • If you can't make two ends meet, make one vegetable. (Gary Sivils)
  • Don't look for water in dry wells. (Dr. Victor Bikales)
  • If someone doesn't want to come, you can't stop them. (Yogi Berra)
  • There are more bad musicians than there is bad music. (Isaac
    Stern
    )
  • I am not a vegetarian because I love animals. I am a vegetarian because I hate plants. (A. Whitney Brown)
